Position Title: Electrical Facilities Tech
Shift: Night (5:45pm to 6am - 3on2off2on3off rotating schedule
Reports to: Technical Supervisor
Location: Winfield, KS
Job Summary:
The Electrical Facilities Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in a safe and timely manner ensuring optimal efficiency for all production equipment.
Job Duties:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical machine issues and make repairs in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Perform and document electrical and electronic equipment preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, installation, retro-fitting (updating) and/or removal.
Perform all electrical practices and procedures to NFPA 70E current revision standards.
Properly document and implement work orders to track machine issues and completed work.
Responsible for training entry level technicians as required.
Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of one-year stable verifiable work history required.
Demonstrated mechanical capability and a minimum of three-years’ experience in a technical related field required. Technical certificate preferred.
High school diploma/GED required.
Must possess strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical knowledge and experience.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must have working knowledge of hand and small power tools.
Must be a good listener and have the ability to receive instructions over two-way radios, and other communication devices.
Must possess good communication skills to ensure that clear and concise information is communicated as required.
Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals, document and implement work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to become certified on operating a forklift, scissor lift, snorkel lift and overhead crane.
