TITLE: Maintenance III

REPORTS TO: Maintenance & Plant Engineering Manager

JOB CLASS : Factory Hourly

SHIFT: 1st (Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm)


· Collaborate with team members committing to safety practices as your #1 priority

· Perform regular inspections of all facility equipment

· Detect malfunctions and defects in equipment and repair the same under limited supervision while reporting all defects and/or repairs to supervisory authority

· Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facility, inclusive of cleanliness and hygiene of work spaces

· Maintain a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted

· Ensure the compliance of all corporate policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while conducting work functions

· Coordinate work processes with other internal departments of the facility

· Provide information for placing orders for spare and replacement parts and completing all necessary documentation for the same


· Prefer 2 years industrial or mechanical oriented Associate’s Degree or certificate from an accredited institution or organization – a high school diploma or a GED equivalent only with relevant experience

· Required minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, working in multiple disciplines (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, industrial electrical, and industrial electronics)

· Prefer knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and/or certification in HVAC discipline

· Must be detail oriented and demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills for root cause analysis

· Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and coordinate maintenance schedules with plant operations in a timely and accurate manner

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Should have intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc.)

· Must be able to read, understand and follow written and verbal work instructions

· Ability to communicate well, verbally and non-verbally

· Must take ownership of assigned tasks and provide leadership in the completion of repairs, defects, or other issues

· Ability to work at a sustained high pace in a manufacturing setting, performing semi-labor intensive work

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, and grasp for varying periods of time up to a consecutive 12-hour period

· Must be able to work in hot environment with frequent humidity changes while wearing the required PPE consisting of safety shoes, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, hard hat, face shield, gloves, ARC flash suit, and welding safety gear

· Must be able to work overtime, flex shifts, and call-ins as needed in order to meet business needs
