Newell Brands Web Graphic Designer in South Deerfield, Massachusetts

Position Title: Web Graphic Designer

Location: South Deerfield, MA

Reports to: Web Creative Manager

The Web Graphic Designer is responsible for collaborating, concepting, innovating, and producing content that is optimized to support the delivery of Newell Brands’ strategic eCommerce plans that provides a clear, consistent brand message across all digital channels. This position works closely with the Web Creative Manager and eCommerce copywriter to deliver best-in-class digital presence in a fast paced and nimble organization. The successful candidate will create and manage end-to-end content, email development, digital assets, production initiatives and various other ecommerce project working closely with cross-functional eCommerce, Brand, and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratewith internal teams as well as with external creative and development resourcesto deliver best-in-class digital content.

  • Demonstrate flawless eye for spacial layout andtypography design capabilities.

  • Execute new concepts and repurpose, rework, andrevise existing content when appropriate and necessary.

  • Beinga brand expert and maintaining consistency across communication while integratingbrand positioning and brand standards into eCommerce content in partnershipwith Brand Marketing, Brand Activation, and Retail Marketing to create anomni-channel approach.

  • Ensureproper use of messaging framework and call-to-action strategy for Ecommercemarketing vehicles (emails, banner ads, landing pages, brand pages, etc.)

  • Managehigh-volume design requests against aggressive deadlines, ability tomulti-task, maintain organized design files, implement workflows, and seekappropriate approvals.

  • Workclosely with managers, copywriters, and brand leaders to seamlessly bring brandmessaging and objectives to life to drive consumer engagement and sales.

KeyQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital design includingleading the development and execution of ecommerce content strategy, emaildesign, agile workflow design support, landing page execution, animation, etc.

  • Advanced knowledge in Adobe Suite and experiencewith HTML/CSS preferred.

  • Experience working in project management softwarelike Workfront, JIRA, etc.

  • Utilizes technical and creative expertise and trend,tactics and consumer knowledge to improve UX/UI.

  • Detail-oriented and deadline focused with anintense attention to detail in project-based content requirements.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Tech,Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, Ecommerce) to ensure design requirements areunderstood, design objectives are met, and execution is efficient.

  • Clearand concise communicator.

  • Abilityto learn, understand and converse around key business issues.

  • Naturallycurious on ways to improve ways of working and process improvement.

  • Strongunderstanding of where projects fit into overall Company and developmentstrategies.

  • Demonstrateintegrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges.

  • Abilityto operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions toissues raised.

  • Abilityto troubleshoot, assess organizational needs and provide solutions accordingly.

  • Demonstratedability to manage multiple activities and assignments simultaneously, meetingtight deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Strongpassion for both speed and simplicity.

  • Experienceworking for an online retailer

Flexibility in work schedule is also required to work on holidays, weekends and extended hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need.
