Newell Brands Forklift Operator in Perrysburg, Ohio
Responsible for loading and unloading all product for shipment as well as supplying Final Assembly/Manufacturing production lines with product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating forklift (must be certified).
Perform inventory transactions via RF unit and SAP.
Read and understand BOM.
Efficiently supply Final Assembly/Manufacturing production lines with product.
Count inventory and prepare product for shipment.
Operate machine while safety elements are functioning and operating machine.
Comply with hazardous material labeling and use requirements.
Wear all prescribed safety gear and comply with all defined safe work place practices.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
Continuous lifting, bending, twisting, push/pull, and reaching required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Knowledge of warehouse layout and locations.
Must have good math and computer skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
Must have good attendance and work performance record.
Leadership qualities such as positive attitude and willingness to help others.
Must have knowledge and understanding of company’s quality standards.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Must be able to follow protocols and processes established for emergency situations, including evacuations.
