Newell Brands Driver Switch Truck in Neosho, Missouri

Position Title: Switchtruck Driver

Reports to: Receiving 1st Shift Supervisor

Location: Neosho, MO

Job Duties:

  • Switching inbound and outbound equipment for shipping and receiving

  • Organization of trailer/equipment on yard

  • Responsible for maintaining equipment in clean, safe operating condition

  • Required to inspect switch truck daily and report any issues

  • Helps unload containers as needed

  • Drives forklift as needed

  • Will be responsible to operate all equipment in a safe manner

  • Required to perform all phases of job duties as established by management

  • May perform other duties as directed by supervision

  • Required to follow all safety rules and procedures

  • Required to follow all housekeeping rules and procedures

  • Required to work regularly scheduled hours plus overtime as needed

  • High school education or GED is not required

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

  • Good Communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Willingness and ability to learn and accept new responsibilities

  • Willingness to work all scheduled work days

  • Must be able to pass a forklift operator's test

  • Must be able to work in a hot or cold environment

  • Must be trained to operate a semi-tractor and have a valid Class A CDL license, have good driving record, and able to pass D.O.T. physical and drug screen
