Position Title: Senior Manager, Sales Finance – CCS Division

Location: Huntersville, NC

Reports to: Senior Director, Commercial Finance

The Sr. Manager of Finance is the finance business partner for the VP of Sales and the broader sales leadership team. This role plays a critical bridge between the Sales function and the business. This leader’s focus should be on creating sustainable processes, providing timely information to leadership, and building/developing their team. The applicant should be comfortable working in a fast paced, flexible environment.


  • Drive the business by helping to builda value based, data and process driven sales approach

  • Support Sales Organization by providinganalytical data including:

  • Sales trends at a customer/cell level

  • Statistical forecast comparison againstcurrent forecast

  • Forecast accuracy analysis by salesperson

  • Analysis assessing the impact of skurationalization and changes in pricing

  • Serve as an integral part of across-functional team, focusing on the development of financial analyses forprojects and initiatives; including business plan reviews, annual budgeting andstrategic planning process, monthly/weekly forecasts, and forecasting andvariance analysis

  • Lead the sales forecasting process toalign sales and the business for the current month, quarter, and full yearestimate

  • Lead and develop a team of 3 employees

  • Oversee day-to-day teams' operation andperformance

  • Set clear team goals and KPIs and doregular performance evaluations

  • Delegate tasks and set projectdeadlines

  • Discover training needs and providecoaching and mentorship

  • Manage the monthly Gross Margin profitabilityreporting to support to key stakeholders within the Division

  • Provide a daily sales updatearticulating orders, shipments, and statistical analysis on current monthprojections

  • Month end close ownership including butnot limited to cost center spend management, promotional activity, and entriesas needed

  • Responsible for building out the AnnualOperating Plan with the Sales Leadership and Category Management teams

  • Manage the Sales Team cost center andchannel related promotional spending budgets

  • Work with Sales Leaders to developtheir monthly, quarterly, annual expense budget/forecast

  • Consolidate monthly selling expenseresults and evaluate the variance drivers when comparing to the forecast

  • Work directly with the VP of Sales todevelop cost savings opportunities to drive Operating Income

  • Other ad-hoc duties as agreed with theSenior Director of Commercial Finance


  • 7-10 years of finance leadership and experience workingin a cross functional environment

  • Proven ability to lead a team,including outside of formal organization chart alignments, with experience offast-paced environment and a self-starter attitude

  • Ability to multi-task and manage throughmultiple priorities with diplomacy

  • Proven organizational skills,detail-orientation and solid work ethic

  • Excellent communication skills, bothverbal and written

  • Possess a detailed understanding offinancial statements and relationships between income statement, balancesheet and cash flow statements

  • Strong PC skills and proficiency withvarious applications; MS Excel, SAP, Planning ERP systems

  • Significant experience of SAP and Hyperion is stronglypreferred
