Position Overview:
Newell Brands is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Retail Media Marketing to oversee and drive the strategic planning and execution of retail media campaigns for our Walmart account. This role is critical in enhancing our brand presence and driving sales through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in retail media marketing and a strong familiarity with Walmart Media Connect (WMC).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive retail media marketing strategies to achieve brand objectives and drive sales growth for the Walmart account.
Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of retail media campaigns across Walmart Media Connect (WMC)
Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, CMS, and brand, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Walmart Media Connect team and agency partners to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget across segments for Walmart Media Connect ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to achieve organizational goals and deliver exceptional results.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in retail media marketing, preferably with a focus on major retail accounts i.e. Walmart Media Connect, Amazon Advertising, Roundel, Criteo, etc.
Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with Walmart Media Center, CommerceIQ, and Amazon Ads platforms.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
Education: BS/BA or University degree in a related field
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively to overcome challenges.
