As the Senior Director of Sales Analytics, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts who provide insights and recommendations to optimize our sales strategy, performance, and operations. You will work closely with senior executives, sales leaders, and cross-functional partners to align on business goals, identify opportunities, and drive action. You will also oversee the development and implementation of sales analytics tools, dashboards, and reports that enable data-driven decision making across the organization.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Act as strategic analytics partner to the sales organization delivering insights including financial, strategic, and operational analysis of new and existing business opportunities and enhancements.

  • Communicate and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, using clear and compelling data visualizations and storytelling.

  • Partner with Sales leaders to identify opportunities and define priorities for new scalable solutions developed by our central advanced analytics team.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales analysts who deliver high-quality insights and recommendations to support sales objectives and initiatives.

  • Define, publish and maintain Sales Analytics roadmap to drive clear value and ROI.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for sales analytics, and track the impact and ROI of analytics initiatives.

  • Develop and implement a vision and strategy for sales analytics that aligns with the company's goals and objectives with clear, measurable expectations that support the company, functional and channel strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, or related field, preferably in the CPG industry.

  • 6+ years of management and leadership of a team of 10+ analysts

  • 3+ years working with Sales stakeholders.

  • 3+ years of direct and hands-on retail/CPG specific experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and persuade senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and customer focus, with the ability to align analytics with business goals and objectives.

  • Proven track record of delivering results, driving growth, and improving profitability through sales analytics.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Ability to lead adaptively through complex and ambiguous problems and situations.

  • Ability to act as a change agent and challenge the status quo; drive transformational change, sponsor change initiatives, and enable others to innovate.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and effectively manage and meet multiple, simultaneous deadlines with minimum assistance.
