Position Overview:
As a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead you will be engaged on assisting in the development and execution of regional and global strategies to attract, engage and hire diverse talent.
Based in India and focused primarily on experienced hiring across several locations within APAC, you will lead recruitment activities from inception to completion, partnering closely with Business Leaders, Hiring Managers and other key internal and external stakeholders, and providing a great candidate experience that enhances Newell Brands’ reputation as an employer of choice.
Key responsibilities:
Managing full life-cycle recruitment of the recruiting process to include (but not limited to) research/sourcing, hiring manager engagement, posting inclusive and effective job adverts, pre-screening/ interviewing, and offer negotiations.
Building productive partnerships with functional leaders, HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and external partners.
Acting as a Talent Brand Ambassador, providing timely, actionable and constructive feedback to candidates.
Partnering with, and guiding, Managers and colleagues in best practice recruitment
Mentoring more junior TA colleagues when required.
Essential:
Fluent in English and Hindi.
Proven background in in-house recruitment, ideally in an FMCG or related environment.
Significant experience hiring within India.
Desirable:
Other regional language(s).
Background in hiring internationally, ideally within APAC.
Skills:
Applicant Tracking System experience, preferably (but not necessarily) SuccessFactors.
Demonstrable background in sourcing both active and passive talent through different channels (LinkedIn Recruiter experience essential).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal skills, ability to build effective working relationships across multiple disciplines, both regionally and globally.
Ability to produce desired outcomes within tight timeframes.
Strong planning & organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
