Newell Brands Material Handler in Brimfield, Ohio
General Responsibility : Main focus of position will be to perform functions to support the movement of material. These will include picking orders to train, pulling stock from the warehouse to supply the pick lines and/or for outbound loads being worked through the shrink area, loading outbound loads, unloading inbound trailers, servicing manufacturing, stocking product from the dock or from Manufacturing, housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or team lead. Both sit-down and stand-up forklifts will be utilized.
Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Lift Truck certified or able to demonstrate past experience through a fork lift evaluation
Ability to be on feet up to 11.5 hours per shift
Strong math skills
Must be able to read and write in English
Communicates well with others
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Accuracy, attention to detail and being well organized
Must be safety conscious
Ensure that all loads are picked/ loaded correctly accordingly to customer requirements
Perform daily inspections of lift truck per inspection form
Accurately complete paperwork for transactions
Operate equipment in a safe manner
