Job Title: Master Data Specialist
Reports To: Accounting Manager
The Master Data Specialist a key member of the Data Maintenance Team and will provide support for all departments and plants. Will also work closely with various business areas to ensure master data integrity.
Actively involvedin material master setups, validations and periodic maintenance ofinformation in the material master.
CreateBill of Materials and Routings in SAP accurately and in a timely manner.
Execute changes toSAP master data as it relates to the business processes with stringentadherence to best practices to ensure the integrity of all data changerequests.
Participate in weeklyproject meetings partnering with multiple functional areas to ensure newitems are set up timely according to project completion dates.
Workclosely with various business functional teams to resolve master data issues asneeded while ensuring compliance and consistency of master data across businesssystems.
Createand maintain standard operating procedures for Data Maintenance Team as needed.
Assist business areasin improving and defining standard operating procedures, process flows anddocumentation.
Createand run Queries in SAP to periodically review master data inconsistencies.
Involvementin SAP System Conversion.
Performmass updates as required.
Previousmaster data experience in SAP
Experiencewith Bill of Materials
Mustbe proficient with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables
Ableto efficiently prioritize workload and meet expected deadlines
Strongattention to details and high degree of accuracy
