Position: Supply Chain Associate Advisor – Food, Drug & Discounter Team
Reports To: Customer Supply Chain Manager – Food, Drug & Discounter Team
The Customer Supply Chain Senior Analyst is responsible for measuring supply chain activity, distilling insights from those measurements, and driving action to improve Newell Brands’ performance to customer and internal goals. The Customer Supply Chain Senior Analyst will also be responsible for the effective communication of supply chain performance and our progress on initiatives being undertaken to improve our capabilities.
This position is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of our customer and our internal organization through routine reporting, ad hoc projects, team participation, and accompanying more senior members of the team to customer meetings. This position will also look for ways to improve routine processes to increase the team’s value to the customer and our organization. This candidate should proactively seek for ways to improve routine processes to increase the teams’ value to the customer and our organization.
Own the creation and communication of routine supply chain reporting.
Develop, implement, and quantify supply chain solutions to improve capabilities / reduce costs.
Create strategies to improve the item level customer forecasts, inventory turns, and instocks.
Execute replenishment plans for modular changes that provide solutions for store count changes.
Drive continuous improvement in the internal forecasting / supply process to optimize working capital while meeting customer goals.
Heavily involved in customer logistics initiatives such as OTIF and the submission of facility closure calendars.
Review store level data that results in the reduction of slow-moving inventory and drives turns.
Develop positive working relationships with our cross functional partners.
Ability to provide in-depth analysis, strategies leveraging that analysis, and execution against those strategies.
Strong ability to communicate with all levels of employees located throughout organization.
Proven ability to build strong team relationships and build credibility.
Successful record of strong analytics with the ability to understand complex businesses.
Demonstrated ability to lead small projects.
3+ years’ experience and Bachelor’s Degree with a Business background preferred, but a proven track record with additional years of successful experience will also be considered

Possess a strong understanding of operational / supply chain business disciplines
