Job Title : Manager, Tax Reporting
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports To : Sr. Manager, Tax Reporting
The Manager of Tax Reporting is responsible for managing the global tax provision process. In this position, the Manager will coordinate and manage global and local country tax provisions, as well as the provision to return process. Additional responsibilities will include involvement in the tax accounting for acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. Additionally, the Manager will coordinate special tax projects as necessary.
Preparation andreview of quarterly and annual tax provisions
Manage the monthly, quarterly, andannual income tax provision summaries, account reconciliations, anddeferred tax analysis
Manage thedistribution and review of foreign tax packages for provision to returnand annual provision calculations
Preparation andreview of the tax forecasting process
Coordinate withexternal auditor to resolve information requests and queries.
Assist in the preparation andmaintenance of tax department Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
Assist in the review of the U.S.income tax returns, as needed
Team with CorporateAccounting to understand accounting for transactions and otheractivities, manage the tax impacts of corporate accounting ledgeractivity, and prepare draft disclosures required for SEC reporting (10Q,10K, etc.)
Preparation andreview of uncertain tax positions and valuation allowance analysis
Research and monitor issues and changes in accountingfor income taxes
Remain informed with respect to taxlaw developments and their impact on the company
Manage special tax projects asnecessary
Bachelor’s degree (orabove) in Accounting required, CPA preferred
6+ years Big4 and/or combination US-based multinational corporate taxexperience
Strong understandingof ASC 740, Income Taxes, and experience with uncertain tax positions
Strong federal income tax complianceexpertise
Strong analytical, verbal and writtencommunication, people, project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to handlemultiple projects, effectively prioritize, manage others, and meetdeadlines
Ability to workindependently with a results oriented focus
Flexible and able to operate in fast paced, changing environment
Ability to grow andchange with the organization
Proficient in Microsoft Word andExcel
Computer expertise includingknowledge of tax software and other technology
Experience workingin ONESOURCETax Provision
Experience working in SAP andHyperion environments a plus
